Principal's Corner

Hello Everyone,

Let me start by introducing myself.  I am Junia Fischer.   I grew up in this community and live here now.  I am married to Jeff Fischer and we have three wonderful children, Kristin, Jeffrey, and Thomas; and one beautiful granddaughter, Lyla.  My family has strong ties to Pollard McCall School.  My grandparents, father, and myself, all attended this school;  and now my granddaughter attends..  Pollard McCall is full of traditions and memories for me, and I am thrilled to be back home.  My school memories at Pollard are full of laughter, fun, friends and family.  The school always seemed like home/family  to me and I hope students feel that way now.

I am excited to start the 23-24 school year with our amazing Wolf Family!  I can not wait to see our students grow and excel in the classroom, build meaningful connections with peers/staff, and have fun participating in school activities.  I am anxious to see our students engaged and be active participants in their own learning.   I am very passionate about education and look forward to partnering with parents to provide our students with a positive school experience.  I believe that by working together with our parents, teachers, staff, and community, we can make sure all of our students' needs are met.  Communication is key to building a strong relationship.  Please reach out to me anytime.  I look forward to an exciting and very productive year!
